Aggregates

Aggregates in the form of crushed stone, gravel and sand are major materials used in the building and construction industry (primarily in concrete) and in road building (asphalt). Low-density aggregates made from FA and which may be used in the production of lightweight concretes for specialised applications or in innovative applications such as soil conditioning and water savers, represent a potential niche product of higher value for coal ash.
