10-12 June 2019
Dundee, UK
EuroCoalAsh 2019 is an international conference concerned with the use of Coal Combustion Products (CCPs) in the construction industry in Europe. The conference takes place every two years, moving between different countries bringing together participants from industry, research and academic backgrounds. In 2019 it will be hosted by the Concrete Technology Unit, University of Dundee, Scotland, UK.
The challenges facing the production and use of CCPs continue. Coal combustion technology is changing, while power stations are also gradually being taken out of service. The impact of these will affect the materials and their supply, with likely increases in international trade and potential for recovery/beneficiation from long-term deposits. Developments with CCPs in existing and novel applications, which look to exploit their technical and environmental benefits are on-going. Similarly, Standards and Regulations are being updated in support of their use in various aspects of construction.
The 2019 Conference will bring together participants from industry, research and academic backgrounds to consider these and other issues. View the topics of interest and how to submit an abstract here.
